The Falmouth Branch of the RAF Association are holding a Service of Thanksgiving & Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain at the Falmouth Parish Church of King Charles The Martyr at 1030am on Sunday the 6th of September 2015.
Attached is a poster showing major events in the town between June and early autumn. It will be updated from time to time.
Information on the race schedule and a schematic of the courses is attached for information.
Taking place at the Princess Pavilion, Gyllyngdune Gardens, Cliff Road, Falmouth
Moving annual service that commemorates the daring Second World War raid on the dry dock at St Nazaire in 1942. A civic procession leaves from The Moor to the memorial stones on Princes of Wales Pier for a short service. Timings TBC.
The next volunteer working party is to being held on Saturday 7th March from 10:00 am. We will meet near the entrance to No 1 Madeira Walk.
Task is litter picking, weed clearing and bracken trimming along the footpaths.
Our AGM takes place next Sunday and we hope that as many members as possible will come along to Falmouth Hotel where proceedings will begin at 2.30 p.m.
