17 March Beach Clean

Falmouth BID, working with Fathoms Free and Falmouth Bay Residents' Association are carrying out a beach clean along the sea front … Castle Beach, Gyllyngvase Beach and Swanpool, plus all the pathways and fields inbetween.

Equipment available from Fathoms Free stand on Gyllyngvase Beach from 10am to 3pm.
Everyone welcome (children must have a responsible adult with them).

Meet from 10am at Gyllyngvase Beach

Equipment available to borrow includes gloves, bags, litter pickers.
This beach clean is being run by solely by volunteers, come along and join in to make the sea front and beaches litter free and safer for wildlife and more enjoyable for everyone.

Subject to sea conditions on the day, Mark Milburn from Atlantic Scuba will be organising an underwater litter pick. All divers welcome, bring your own kit. Time and venue tbc

All three beaches have amenities that are open for public access.

Parking: There is ample parking free at the Gyllyngvase Beach car park (charging starts, btw, from April 1st).
