Falmouth’s proactive efforts regards Ebola Crisis

This general message emanates from A & P at Falmouth Docks and is in respect of the MS GYPSUM SENTENNIAL  currently in port from Sierra Leone. She sails toward the end of this month direct to Sierra Leone. A & P seeks help as follows:

With Gypsum Centennial in port, A&P will again be sending out vital provisions for the children at the All as One Orphanage in Sierra Leone with the funds raised so far this year.

The vessel will be going back to Sierra Leone when she leaves Falmouth and we will be sending items which are urgently needed due to the cost of food escalating in the region.

If you, your family, friends, your church, your children’s schools or any other organisations you are associated with would like to help, please let them know that we can accept boxes here at A&P, provided they are sealed and are clearly labelled with contents.

Items we are looking for include:

Dry Stores:  ie Rice, Pasta, Dried Milk etc.

Tinned Food:  Tinned Tomatoes, Condensed Milk, etc

Hygiene Items:  Bars of Soap, handwash, sanitizer etc

Please do not send anything that would perish in the heat (ie chocolate).

All items need to be here by close of business on 24th November 2014. All items can be left with security at the entrance to the docks.

Many thanks

Kind regards

Penny Phillips
