FBRA Planning 22 November 2014

TO MEMBERS OF FALMOUTH BAY RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION

1)  Please find attached the weekly update of planning applications lodged for our area during the past week.  There have been no notifications of premises licence applications or licence

variations this week.

2) Message below from FBRA Deputy Chairman Ruth Hills re. the Sierra Leone orphanage appeal:

Many thanks to everyone who dropped provisions at my house to be sent to Sierra Leone. Penny at A & P was delighted to receive our box of donations.  She showed me a room full of donated goods and said that they were getting another container to hold more boxes.  She also explained that A & P had contacted organisations like The Red Cross and Medecins Sans Frontieres who now will use the ship, Gypsum Centennial, to transport essential medical supplies right to where is is so desperately needed.

I felt very proud to be part of such a generous community. There is still time to take:

Dry Stores:  ie Rice, Pasta, Dried Milk etc.

Tinned Food:  Tinned Tomatoes, Condensed Milk, etc

Hygiene Items:  Bars of Soap, handwash, sanitizer etc

in any form to the Core Gym on the Moor by 3pm on Monday or either boxed and labelled directly to the docks by 5pm on Monday.

Thank you

Ruth Hills
